Our Visit to Glasgow Science Centre 3rd May 2022

5th May 2022

‘Science is simply the word we use to describe a method of organising our curiosity’- Tim Minchin

Our budding scientists took a trip to the Science Centre this May Day, where they explored three floors of amazing experiments and visited the Planetarium. This was a first-time experience for 4 of our young people as well as 8 young people experiencing the planetarium for the first time.

Everyone was amazed at the amount of hand-on experiments that they could investigate. We learned about how the body works, climate and weather, outer space and even had fun looking at perspectives and illusions.

Kids Quotes

‘I loved all the experiments, especially the water vibrations as we made the water dance’ – RB

‘I really enjoyed the The Hamster wheel and The Planetarium, it felt like I was floating’ - AT
