Today’s final Lunch Club session marks the end of our summer programme

And just like that… our Summer Clubs 2026 are finished!

Today’s final Lunch Club session marks the end of our summer programme, and what a summer it has been!

We spent our last session at the park, enjoying the sunshine, lunch and plenty of fun together.

Across the summer we held 28 Lunch Club sessions, providing 513 lunches, along with 3 trips where we provided a further 77 lunches.

And to finish things off, the young people were delighted to see an ice cream van waiting for them when we got back to the building! Everyone enjoyed a lovely ice cream cone — the perfect way to wrap up our summer.

A huge thank you to West Dunbartonshire SHINE and all our funders for making this summer possible, and to all the young people, parents, guardians, volunteers and members of our community who have helped make the last six weeks so special.

We’ve had so many laughs, adventures and memories, and it’s been amazing to see everyone enjoying themselves and making the most of the summer.
